Saw the Frank Gambale Allstars play here. The service all night was excellent, the food was good (a few choices for vegetarians which we appreciated), and the atmosphere is tasteful and sophisticated… Full review by mankoman

Amazing venue. Melbournians should feel so lucky they have such a premium venue showcasing amazing live talent with a fully equipped bar, kitchen and highly trained servers. Beautiful blue velvet sea… Full review by Melila L
Will I be able to ensure that my wife (who has MS ) and I will be able to be seated on December 21st. She has a foldable wheelchair, or what would probably be better suited a walking frame. I can assist her down stairs. Terry

Hope you had no hiccups getting your wife seated on Dec 21st. There is a small lift available. From memory, there were also a couple of steps leading towards the main dining area away from the bar. It would be ideal if your wife is able to navigate using a walking stick as the dining tables and chairs are placed rather close to one another.
Hi why do you not guarantee seating reservations? If a seating reservation is not honoured why do you refuse to refund?

Hi there, thx for your question. Albare's answer is spot on. You get the same service at BB as if you were at Birdland NY, our sister club. As far as we know there's no tradition in Jazz Clubs to guaranty sittings. We've tried that when we first started, when we had Ticketeck as our ticket agency. We found that they were treating BB as if it was the MCG. It simply didn't fit our intimate set up. Kind Regards.
