Keep your eyes on the skies from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, and you might see an unusual cosmic convergence: two meteor showers, the Southern Delta Aquariids and the Alpha Capricornids, peaking in intensity on the same night.

The Southern Delta Aquarids and Alpha Capricornids are not the best showers of the summer, but they reach their peak on the same night.

Together, the Southern Delta Aquariids and the Alpha Capricornids will send 20 to 30 meteors streaking across the sky late Tuesday
