Bengaluru police are implementing comprehensive security measures for New Year's Eve 2025, deploying over 11,000 personnel to manage crowds and traffic. Celebrations are permitted until 1 am, with specific pedestrian and vehicular restrictions in high footfall areas like MG Road.

The police said that they have held discussions with representatives of the civic bodies, Metro and other organisations to ensure safety and avoid any stampede-like situations.

Since a large number of people, motorists and pedestrians will gather at several parts of Bengaluru to celebrate New Year on M G Road, Brigade Road, Koramangala, Indiranagar 100ft road etc, in the interest of public safety, the traffic police has put necessary restrictions on the movement of vehicles on these roads.
