Lily Collins, daughter of Phil Collins, recalls her first time hearing Genesis songs at a concert: 'That's a real song?! I thought that was just a melody in my head!'

Not sure that it's necessarily a viable excuse, but it's a nice (invisible) touch. Collins was present in 2022 when her dad — who was recently reported to be working on his first new music in 20-plus years — played the final Genesis concert in London, UK.
