Following the violence in Nagpur over right-wing groups demands to remove the tomb of Aurangzeb, a curfew remains intact in the city. Furthermore, a total of five FIRs have been registered, one against accused for inappropriately touched a female police officer on duty.

As many as 34 police personnel, including three DCPs, were injured in the Nagpur violence as stones were hurled at them. Around 50 persons have been taken into custody in connection with the violence.

Curfew remains in effect in multiple Nagpur areas, including Kotwali, Tehsil, and Nandanvan, as per police commissioner's order, until further notice.
