They again watched a fourth-quarter lead disappear down the stretch for the third time in the last four games. This time it was a double-digit lead in the third quarter and a slight lead early in the fourth quarter that were wiped out as they fell apart in a 132-121 loss to the Pacers.

The Indiana Pacers had themselves an incredible second half to capture their fifth win of the season over the Knicks.

However, they imploded late defensively and the Indiana Pacers defeated New York by a score of 132-121. The Knicks drop back under .500 to 4-5 on the season and the Pacers improve to 5-5. New York continues to suffer from the absence of their key bench pieces and is feeling the effects of playing shorthanded.
