Almost 80,000 customers were without power across Northeast Ohio, according to First Energy. Multiple counties are experiencing massive outages.

About 50,000 FirstEnergy customers woke up without power after severe storms swept through Northeast Ohio overnight.

Most notably, Richland County is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 10:30 p.m., with Mansfield among the communities expected to be hit hardest. A storm was first detected near Delaware, and residents should be on the lookout for heavy rain and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
