One week after returning to the San Francisco 49ers' preseason practice, Nick Bosa missed the team's joint practice with the Las Vegas Raiders due to another injury. However, much like his previous absences, there does not seem to be any reason for concern.
Here are five players who have a chance to seize an opportunity this weekend.
The defensive line was in heavy rotation against the 49ers. In early run down situations, Adam Butler, Tonka Hemingway, Jonah Laulu and Thomas Booker IV were all seen in some capacity with the first-team unit alongside Crosby and Malcolm Koonce.

Joint practices are all the rage in the NFL these days. While fans can argue that it hurts the preseason product because all the stars get most of their work done during these sessions, teams view this as an invaluable piece of their preparation for the regular season.
In the first half, the Raiders managed just 2.6 yards per carry. Running back Ashton Jeanty took three carries for a total of -1 yard. They got better in the second half — 81 yards on 17 attempts — but that came against the Seahawks’ third-string unit.
Niners All-Pro tight end George Kittle told reporters Thursday of an interesting instance in which the Raiders lined up four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby head up over Kittle, essentially surrendering edge contain with their chosen alignment.
