Ajit Agarkar, the chief selector of the Indian men's cricket team, is expected to have a crucial meeting with skipper Rohit Sharma, head coach Gautam Gambhir, and BCCI officials to address the team's recent poor performances in Test cricket.

During the interview, Rohit Sharma suggested that he "isn't retiring" and said that he decided to "opt out" of the match owing to poor form.

"Yes, there will be a review meeting but no firing. C'mon, you can't sack a coach for the batters' poor show in one series. Gautam Gambhir will remain the coach, and Virat and Rohit will feature in the England series. The focus is Champions Trophy," BCCI sources told IANS on Tuesday.
