Florida basketball outscored Tennessee in the paint and outrebounded UT in its historic win over the No. 1 Vols

In front of 11,011 fans Tuesday night in Gainesville, No. 8 Florida thumped top-ranked Tennessee 73-43 to knock off the last unbeaten team in Division I men's basketball, an authoritative performance that gave the Gators a 14-1 record this season.

It's a really tough sport to be up for from game to game, week to week. Great performances are often followed by down ones, just as the games themselves are a contest of streaks and runs. The Tennessee Vols were a perfect example of that in the strongest of terms on Saturday and more recently Tuesday evening.
