The venerable Burbank film and television studio properties, HBO, HBO Max streaming service and gaming properties will be part of Warner Bros. Cable networks, including TNT, CNN, HGTV, Animal Planet and Bleacher Report,

The announcement also confirmed that David Zaslav, the current president and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, will serve as president and CEO of the newly formed Warner Bros. Meanwhile, current Warner Bros. Discovery CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels will serve as president and CEO of Discovery Global.

Warner Bros Discovery said the two companies created by the separation of its studio, streaming and cable TV units would be named Warner Bros and Discovery Global, unwinding a merger in less than four years due to seismic shifts in the entertainment industry.
