A reality TV series will once again show off officers from the Kansas City area on Friday. The Independence Police Department will be featured on the latest episode of COPS, airing on Fox Nation.
It was created by John Langely and Malcom Barbour, premiering March 11, 1989. “COPS has followed officers in over 140 different cities in the United States,” the show’s website states.
The episode premieres Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. on Paramount TV. This episode is part of the 30th season of “COPS,” which is one of the longest-running unscripted TV shows. No, not an #LKPDTweetalong!
Langley Productions, a production team that used to work for the TV show “COPS” and the city of Springfield agreed to a contract on May 22, 2020, according to documents obtained by KY3.
