De'Aaron Fox is on to his next chapter after spending the first seven-plus seasons of his career with the Sacramento Kings. But it appears his stint in Sactown might not have ended on the best of terms.

So he understands all too well what De’Aaron Fox experienced Monday when the team officially dealt its star point guard to San Antonio as part of a three-team trade.

De'Aaron Fox was traded to the San Antonio Spurs from the Sacramento Kings in a multi-team deal on Sunday night. The Kings drafted Fox and he spent seven and a half seasons there, but will now sport another team's colors.

“In this business, you have to put those emotions aside,” Fox said. “Obviously, everybody especially who were here during that long (postseason drought), and who was on this team when we made the playoffs, obviously that means a lot to everybody.
