Twenty-three cars will race 200 green-flag laps to claim the Cook Out Clash title Feb 2 at Bowman Gray Stadium, NASCAR revealed Tuesday. The 23-car field is the same number of cars that ran in the feature of last year’s Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

NASCAR revealed the format for the 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, culminating in a 200-lap feature on Feb. 2.

For the first time since 1971, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to Bowman Gray Stadium. This year, the Cook Out Clash heads to North Carolina, which starts a busy Cup Series schedule. The Cup Series is the top racing format for NASCAR.

The 2025 Cook Out Clash format has been meticulously designed to offer an exhilarating start to the NASCAR season at Bowman Gray Stadium. The event will feature 23 drivers competing in a 200-lap race on the challenging 0.25-mile oval, scheduled for Sunday, February 2, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

NASCAR season with the Daytona 500, Austin Cindric will compete in the preseason Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray.

The Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray stadium will feature a handful of heats and a last chance qualifier ahead of Sunday's main event.

The main event for the NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium will feature 23 drivers racing around the flat quarter mile football stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for 200 laps.
