Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda has finally revealed why he wasn't cast in Jon M. Chu's blockbuster movie adaptation of Wicked.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is opening up about why he was ultimately not cast in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked. Jon M. Chu directed the movie musical, the filmmaker Miranda had worked with on the film version of In The Heights in 2021.

Manuel, the story of him trying to be cast in Wicked has been "blown way out of proportion." He said he did call Jon after he found out he would be directing and told him that if there were any role for him,
