Jannik Sinner has finally managed to defeat Felix Auger-Aliassime at the CIncinnati Open on Thursday as he reached the semi-finals in Ohio. He had lost their previous Head to head encounters winning just one set.

The world number one powered through a rapid-fire opening set and overcame a wobble as he started the second set by dropping serve.

Jannik Sinner is through to the last four in Cincinnati after four straight-sets triumphs. World no. 1 faced Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-final and scored a dominant 6-0, 6-2 victory in 72 minutes.
