Sonny Milano - Milano played 116 games in Union Blue throughout five seasons. He had 20 goals and 42 points in his Jackets career before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks. He spent most of his career with the Columbus organization playing in the AHL. He played in 163 games and had 112 points for Springfield and Cleveland.

The Sabres are coming off a 7-3 victory in their preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday. As was the case in that game, they will ice a roster consisting of most of their NHL regulars on Monday – their final tune-up at home before departing for Munich, Germany on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets will play game one of eight of the preseason today at 5 p.m. The Blue Jackets will go to Buffalo tonight for the first of eight games before the regular season starts on October 10th against the Minnesota Wild .

Defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, who suffered an undisclosed injury last Wednesday, skated on Monday. Head coach Lindy Ruff said that Dahlin would miss a few days and it appears he is ramping up towards being available for practices with the club once they travel to Germany on Tuesday.
