Newly-released body camera footage shows the moments NYPD officers shot a man inside the NYC subway after they say he jumped a turnstile without paying and lunged at them with a knife. The man was wounded and bystanders were also hit.

Police in New York City have released closed circuit television and body cam footage of an officer-involved shooting that saw a total of four people injured on a transit train this week.

Surveillance video from the station shows that Derrell Mickles jumped a turnstile at the subway station right in front of two officers.

Four people were injured and the suspect is facing multiple charges including possession of a weapon, police said.
