Drake doubled down in his legal action against his label, Universal, suing the company for defamation over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, 'Not Like Us.'

RAPPER Drake has filed a new lawsuit against his own record label, accusing them of pushing an “inflammatory and dangerous narrative” by promoting rival Kendrick Lamar’s diss

In a federal lawsuit on Wednesday, Drake accused Universal Music Group of putting his life and reputation at risk by releasing and promoting the popular diss track.

Drake has dropped legal action against Spotify and Universal Music after previously filing a lawsuit accusing the companies of manipulating the streaming services to boost Kendrick Lamar's song

But when Lamar's "Not Like Us" diss track went viral and topped music charts globally, Drake reacted by alleging Spotify and UMG came up with an illegal scheme to boost the song.

Drake has scrapped a legal case against Universal Music and Spotify, in which he accused the companies of conspiring to boost the streams of Kendrick Lamar's diss track against him, Not Like Us. The Canadian star took action last November,

A second action against UMG and iHeartRadio is still active, alleging that the ‘Not Like Us’ track is defamatory.
