After a stint in the Mexican League, former Detroit Tigers first-round MLB Draft pick Beau Burrows is returning to the U.S. on a minor-league deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Burrows, 28, was selected by the Tigers with the 22nd overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft out of Weatherford High School in Texas.

The Kansas City Royals signed 45-year-old pitcher Rich Hill to a minor league contract. He will report to their spring training facility and then likely head to Triple-A Omaha.

Rich Hill isn’t ready to hang up his cleats. At 45 years old, the veteran southpaw signed a minor league deal with the Royals, the team announced on Tuesday. Hill will reportedly join Triple-A Omaha after reporting to Kansas City’s spring training facility in Florida.
