The UAW said Stellantis is trying to move production of the Dodge Durango outside the U.S., one of several recent actions by the automaker that the union argues violate the labor contract they signed last fall.

The UAW leader wrote a letter to a senior Stellantis executive, discussing disputes over the Dodge SUV and a closed Illinois plant.

The UAW and Stellantis have been at odds this year after the union accused the automaker of delaying the reopening of the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois. The plant sat idle in 2023, but under the 2023 contract agreement, the automaker pledged to reopen the facility.
