An alligator killed a Florida woman after tipping over a canoe she and her husband were paddling, investigators said.

The attack occurred in the mouth of a canal leading to Lake Kissimmee, just east of Osceola County, according to the agency

The FWC said the attack occurred on Lake Kissimmee near the mouth of Tiger Creek. A similar, though non-lethal attack happened in the same creek in March.
