The NASCAR Xfinity Series attracted its largest TV audience since July, reaching 1M, following its debut on The CW Network

While the highest level is still seeking its future identity in the early stages of the NextGen development cycle, the Xfinity Series car has evolved to represent the best of NASCAR’s past as the quintessential racing platform over the past five seasons.

On Saturday, 12 drivers will begin their hunt for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship. The Xfinity Series playoffs will be composed of three rounds and seven races, with the highest finishing driver of the Championship Four at Phoenix taking home the title. Here are our predictions for each round.

“I’m not planning on racing next year,” Earnhardt said of the Xfinity Series. “I’ll be foolish to say I’m never going to run again because I don’t know well enough to stay away from it, and I’ll probably miss it next year and be absolutely willing to sign up for anything that might be beneficial to JR Motorsports.”

The NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff field was set after Friday's Food City 300 at Bristol, with Cole Custer winning the race and the regular season points title. But Justin Allgaier comes into the first playoff race as the playoff points leader, 27 points ahead of the cutoff line.

The NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series are both on track Friday at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Xfinity Series will practice and qualify ahead of its race Friday night — the final race of the regular season. Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes his return to the series. This is his first Xfinity race since last year.
