This marks the third crossover for flagship L&O and SVU since 2022. Mariska Hargitay and Terry Serpico both appeared on a May 2022 episode of L&O, and the two shows later joined Organized Crime for a crossover event in September 2022.

Last May, it was revealed that the Dick Wolf spinoff, led by Christopher Meloni, would become a “Peacock original,” moving to the streaming service exclusively for Season 5. On Tuesday, NBCUniversal announced that in addition to streaming, the Season 5 premiere will also air on NBC at 10 p.m. ET.

A Law & Order and SVU crossover will air on Thursday, April 17, at 8/7c. That’s also the same day that Organized Crime Season 5 premieres on Peacock (with its first two episodes) — and the first episode will air after the crossover on NBC, at 10/9c. (The series was moved over to the streaming service after four seasons.)
