Doug Christie took over as the interim head coach of the Sacramento Kings amid a season-long losing streak, fans booing the team off their home court and questions surrounding the decision to fire Mike Brown,

After the win, Christie talked about Fox’s talent reaching new heights, per Ballislife’s X, formerly Twitter. “De’Aaron Fox is elite. His competitive nature is just high level. He’s finding his way in front of our very eyes. It’s huge. I just hugged him and said, ‘I love you man. Thank you.’”

That was the message that new head coach Doug Christie had given to the Kings’ players after taking over the big chair in the wake of Mike Brown being fired. Christie emphasized it several times Saturday night, “And this is a message that I said to them — there is enough in this locker room.”
