T he Trump Administration is suing Los Angeles over sanctuary city policies that limit the city’s cooperation with federal immigration enforcement, claiming that they led to “lawlessness” when thousands of people took to the streets earlier this month to protest the President’s mass-deportation operation.

The complaint targets the so-called "sanctuary city" ordinance, alleging it hampers the crackdown on a "crisis of illegal immigration."
