Rams veteran Cooper Kupp ominously told ESPN that whether he plays with the Rams next season is “out of his control.” Kupp, who was on the trade block early in the season after a terrible 1-4 start, has two years remaining on his contract and surely will have a market if he becomes available.

Kupp was referring to the Rams’ conversations about him with other teams ahead of this season’s trade deadline. The 31-year-old receiver and former triple crown winner has been with the franchise his entire career after they drafted him in the third round in 2017.

The Rams toboggan into the offseason, with their cup far from full after losing in the playoffs. What remains to be learned is if Kupp will return in 2025.
