Multiple crashes caused delays on I-83 in Dauphin County on Tuesday morning, Sept. 24, according to PennDOT. PennDOT said the first multi-vehicle crash occurred at 6:45 a.m. on I-83 northbound at Exit 46A to I-283 south to Airport/Lancaster.

A pickup truck driver tried to pass another vehicle by speeding up on a rainy day but instead, he crashed, causing his passenger to receive fatal injuries, and now he is facing charges, court documents show.
