Connor Ingram made 23 saves and Olli Maatta scored his first goal for the Utah Hockey Club in a 5-2 victory over Winnipeg Jets.

Ingram stopped 24 of 28 shots in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Jets. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

WINNIPEG -- Cole Perfetti scored his first NHL hat trick, including the go-ahead goal, for the Winnipeg Jets in a 5-2 win against the Utah Hockey Club at Canada Life Centre on Friday.

Utah struggled to maintain consistent pressure in the offensive zone and Winnipeg took full advantage. The Jets took the lead by finding an unmarked man in front of the net with 14:09 left in the game and then doubled it when Utah lost the puck at the offensive blue line, and Nikolaj Ehlers scored on a free breakaway.

Cole Perfetti recorded his first career hat trick and Nikolaj Ehlers reached 500 career points, picking up a goal and three assists. Connor Hellebuyck turned away 17 of the 19 shots he faced. Connor Ingram allowed four goals on 28 shots.
