Now, for the first time this offseason, James Cook is sitting out a mandatory practice. When asked why he is sitting down, Cook just kept repeating, "business."

With his contract dispute ongoing, Buffalo Bills running back James Cook arrived to Sunday’s mandatory practice but did not participate. Instead, the 25-year-old stood off to the side or spent a short amount of time on an exercise bike.

It’s unknown what exactly changed since Cook part participated in the team’s Return of the Blue & Red scrimmage on Friday night, but a lack of progress in contract talks could be why the back is suddenly having a hold-in of sorts at Bills training camp.
