'I want it more': Red Wings select feisty Carter Bear in first round of NHL Draft
The Wings selected left wing Carter Bear Friday with the 13th pick overall in the first round. Bear, who suffered a partially torn Achilles tendon that ended his season in March, scored 40 goals in 56 games for Everett (WHL). Bear (6-foot, 180-pounds) is expected to be ready for training camp.
