The original Space Marine came out back in 2011 and was a bit of a cult classic, which is a nice way of saying it reviewed well but nobody bought it. Still, the Warhammer 40K fanbase is nothing if not vocal, and after many years of clamoring for a sequel, our prayers to the Emperor have finally been answered and then some.

When he’s not busy appearing for a cameo on Deadpool & Wolverine, noted nerd Henry Cavill has often been spotted painting Warhammer 40,000 miniatures or playing on his PC gaming rig. Recently, the movie star combined both hobbies and sat down to play Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.

Games Workshop has revealed a new intro set with everything needed to build and play tabletop Warhammer 40,000, including Lieutenant Titus!

Space Marine 2 features a third-party design not sold by Games Workshop. Games Workshop is strict about these things, disallowing them from official tabletop play. Saber Interactive has said they scanned all of the miniatures they needed for use in Space Marine 2.
