Lauren McDavid, the wife of NHL superstar Connor McDavid, wrote an adorable message after receiving a special Valentine's gift ahead of the Canada-USA 4 Nations showdown.

Connor McDavid is in his 10th NHL season, has played in more than 750 games, led the league in scoring five times and won the Hart Trophy as MVP three times. Still, what he is experiencing right now is something brand new to him.

But before the clash with Sweden, McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle McDavid, showed support for her husband with a supportive post for the three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner. Lauren shared a photo of Connor during Canada’s practice and captioned it with emojis of a heart and the Canadian flag.

To no one's surprise, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid centres the first line. McDavid is joined by two elite two-way wingers in Mitch Marner and Sam Reinhart, with Marner providing skill and playmaking while Reinhart fills a Zach Hyman-type scoring role on McDavid's wing.
