As if it wasn't already cold enough outside, temperatures have gotten even lower for the beginning of Wednesday. It's the coldest morning we've seen since late 2022. Thankfully, we're tracking a warming trend that will carry us into the weekend!

A First Warn through 10 a.m. Feel-like temperatures will range from -10 to 10 degrees before sunny skies warm us up this afternoon to a high of 39 degrees.

An arctic air mass will channel temperatures 20-30 degrees below already historically cold January averages. The South braced for a rare winter storm.

The Milwaukee area will see light snow all day as the region experiences another round of frigid temperatures. Flurries will move across southern Wisconsin throughout the early morning on Wednesday, followed by light snow showers until 2 or 3 a.

The Cold Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
