Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, a member of an Israeli transnational organized crime group and four others were arrested for allegedly operating an illegal gambling and poker ring.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas was arrested Wednesday and is accused by the Department of Justice of being a part of a high-stakes illegal gambling ring that ran out of one of his California homes.

Federal prosecutors say former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has been arrested on suspicion of hosting illegal high-stakes poker games at an L.A. mansion.
