The biting satire of “South Park” continues to gain momentum this summer, according to newly released ratings from Paramount.

South Park” is on a roll. The show’s most recent Season 27 episode, “Got a Nut,” averaged 6.2 million global multiplatform viewers in its first three days of release - which was up from the show’s heavily touted season premiere.

The new season of “South Park” launched amid the tensions between Comedy Central’s parent Paramount and the Trump White House. It also arrived after the show’s co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone scored a massive $1.5-billion five-year deal with Paramount for the streaming rights, which previously belonged to HBO Max.
