The Louisville Cardinals volleyball team fell to Nebraska Sunday, but that couldn't take away from the milestone the program hit. The University of Louisville reported the largest crowd for a match in the team's history. 14,126 fans packed out the KFC Yum! Center to set the new record.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska volleyball was dominant Sunday afternoon, sweeping No. 4 Louisville and making it look easy. Nebraska won 25-16, 25-17, 25-20 at the KFC Yum! Center. The Huskers outhit the Cardinals 0.305% to 0.133%.

After pulling off a home sweep over No. 2 Stanford, the No. 5 Huskers traveled to Louisville for a Sunday showdown with the No. 4 Cardinals. Nebraska didn't lose a step from its win over Stanford, as it swept Louisville to earn its second-straight top-five win.
