Mets pitchers blow six-run lead as Nationals walk it off in ninth

In the second inning, the Nationals got a run back on a solo home run by center fielder Dylan Crews that landed just out of Nimmo’s reach in left field. Crews’s home run ended a streak of 14 games in which Mets starting pitchers didn’t surrender a home run.

Dylan Crews homered off Tylor Megill in the second for Washington’s first run. Torrens had an RBI double in the fifth to make it 7-1. Parker, who went five innings and allowed all seven Mets runs, saw his ERA climb to 2.65.
