The Tata Nexon CNG has been launched with a bang and gets 5 ‘firsts’ comprising new features and mechanical advancements for a CNG vehicle

The new Tata Nexon CNG is available in a total of eight variants and here they are along with the features they offer.

The Tata Nexon CNG not just offers more features over the Punch CNG, but it also uses a more powerful turbocharged petrol engine

The Brezza in CNG mode makes 87 BHP and 121 Nm which means the Nexon CNG is the most powerful car here with 98bhp and 170Nm

The Nexon stands out as the only vehicle to offer four powertrains — petrol, diesel, electric (EV), and the newly added CNG.

The Tata Nexon iCNG is powered by a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine that puts out 99 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The engine gets paired with a six speed manual transmission as of now.

Tata Motors launched the Nexon CNG earlier this month, with prices starting at Rs. 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the country’s first turbocharged petrol-CNG combination to be offered, and it is the second car after the XUV 3XO in the segment to get a panoramic sunroof.

While the Tata Nexon CNG mileage is claimed to be 24km/kg, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG mileage is slightly better at 25.51km/kg.
