Over the 18 years it has been running, the Deva Divas triathlon, a women-only event run by the Chester Triathlon Club in July, has gone from strength to strength.

There was strong British interest across the globe as domestic action took a back seat this weekend and World Triathlon Cup and Triathlon Europe Cup events took centre stage.
